I am not your average South Carolina photographer. I do not photograph weddings, I will not photograph your family at sunset on the beach wearing all white with an off camera flash. I don't like smocked dresses or 'john-john' suits on little boys. I think that a little girls hair bow shouldn't be bigger than her head and I will never understand the obsession with monogramming.
I guess you can say that my style is more 'OldNavy' than 'Strasburg'. I love to photograph kids being themselves (running, playing, laughing so hard their eyes squint). I love photographing newborns, and showcasing their beauty naturally without using them as a dress up doll or a prop. I am passionate about natural birth and I have been dubbed the 'doula-ographer' by my birth clients.
I am also a Mom of two beautiful kids both under the age of 6, the wife of a Police Officer and I am currently serving my country in Navy. When I'm not at work, with my kids, or photographing a session, you can find me at the barn with my amazing horse Romeo. I love to crochet and I'm pretty crafty, so all the cute little items for my newborns were made by me :) I love musicals, audiobooks, rainy days in my pj's, hanging out with my girlfriends, going to horse shows, and cupcakes. LOVE cupcakes.

What is even sweeter is his love for his new baby brother. He just wants to hug and kiss him constantly. He makes me want to take him home with me so Ava has a brother her age. Photographing a 3 year old is often harder as they don’t care about you or the camera (just what THEY want to do), and this little man was no different. He made me work for it that is for sure, but as you can see it was worth every minute.jpg "gage")
